Daniels preschool/daycare class went to the Berry Patch to pick pumpkins today, they also got to feed the sheep and walk through a hay maze. This is Daniels first field trip he went on. First Day At Swim Lessons

Today was Daniels first day of swim lessons. He is in the preschool class which is 3-6yrs. As you can see from the pictures he had fun and straggled a little bit till he got used to his teacher and knowing he could walk accross the pool himself... Each day will get easier for him, but he is so much fun to watch..

My First Trip To The Dentist

Today was Daniel's first visit to the dentist, it was a very memorable time and fun to watch him interact with the nurse and the dentist. He is in the perfect tooth club for not having any cavaties. They had ceiling tvs for the kids to listen to with their head phones.. He was very cooperative. They had a big moose hut in the lobby filled with different toys to play with. Daniel was able to pick a toy from their toy wall. Very nice place and very kid friendly...

Look At My New Bike

There is nothing more exiciting then to tell a toddler are you ready to go

get your bike? Darrell and I have been promising him a bike when Darrell got a job.

So Saturday we took him to buy his spiderman bike and helmet. From the time we opened the car door he said hurry mommy and daddy lets run, so when he reached the front door he said no cart today I am going to buy my bike, as he continues to get us to run with him to the back of the store. Once in the back of the store he finds his bike on the rack and points to it and says daddy theres my bike get it...... They grow so fast.

The Lord Answers Prayers

As most of you know our family move to Caldwell Idaho in Feburary. We had been living in our trailer for a year prior to moving here. We both have been diligently seeking work day in and day out. We also found a awesome church we are currently attending. Darrell and I have really been having our faith tested for quite some time now. We trully believe in the power of prayer which we have been praying for a break and a new start for us. The lord does answer prayers even though you may have to suffer and wait a while, we can trully attest to this now.

AND SO OUR BIG NEWS TO REPORT TO EVERYONE IS........

DARRELL FOUND A JOB AND STARTS NEXT WEEK.....

He will be working for a big construction paving company, full benefits, 401k...

Yesterday we went to help grandpa dig a trench for a water line project. We scooped dirt and threw it in the trailer. This is grandpa's yard bike to get around and do his projects. Daniel had fun riding with grandpa. It was a beautifull windy and sunny day. Little Daniel loves his grandpa.

We attended a fun filled family evening at the Middleton Fire Department. Daniel had some fun sitting and standing on the different fire trucks. They also had a small fire demonstration on how to use a fire extinguisher. They had coloring pages for the kids and a station tour.

I went this morning to sign my dog up for dog welfare. At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligiable to draw welfare." So I explained to her that my dog is a democrat, black, unemployed, lazy, cant speak english and has no friggin clue who his daddy is. So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My dog gets his first check friday. Damn this is a great country.......

Today was the annaul kids expo fair at the Idaho expo center in Boise. Today was filled with lots of exhibits for the kids and lots of information packets for parents and goodie hand outs for the kids. There was a petting zoo, rides, slides and bounce houses, live stage dancing and swings. There was a kids ambulance that was on display for the kids to walk through as well. The fair itself was only $5.00 admission but there was so much to see and do. As you can see we always travel with the wagon and make us a lunch. It was a fun filled day.

We had a wonderfull and fun trip, we stopped at the koa at Circus Circus Las Vegas, and the koa in Salt Lake City Utah as well. It took us two days to break our trip up with a liitle toddler. Now we are just trying to get settled, so for the meantime we will be staying in our trailer at Traci's grandparents house untill we find a place to rent. We are also in the process of looking for employment. We love all of you and thank you for all your thoughts and prayers and we will keep you all posted.

Idaho Here We Come

As most of you know already California is to expensive and is not getting any better. My poor husband has been out of work for almost 2yrs. We just cant make it here any more and have made up our minds to move out of state to Caldwell Idaho around March or sooner If we land work first. We have been doing lots of research and been applying for jobs in Idaho. Things are so much cheaper up there and the cost of living is reasonable and everything is just more afforable. We have been thinking about this move for quite some time now and it will be hard to leave but this is what our family needs right now to survive because we have suffered to long in California. We plan to stay in a rv park in Caldwell for now untill we land work and have been working for at least 6months while saving money to move out to rent a place in mid October. We will all be just fine so please we do not want anyone to worry. We look at it as a fresh start for our New Year.

This morning while mommy was sleeping, daddy and Daniel went out on an adventure. They Stumbled accrossed Whitewater Preserve-Whitewater, Ca. There were 3 ponds with fish in each One and you Could fish but it was only catch and release with the preserve's fishing poles. It was a very nice Place to visit and very peacefull to walk around.

A Trip To The Los Angeles County Fair

It's that time again, a fun filled evening and afternoon at the fair, This year we had comped tickets through my work. This year was even more fun because daniel was old enough to do alot. Daniel rode the giant slide 5x with darrell I rode it once with him but it scared the day lights out of me, to many stairs to climb if your afraid of heights. Daniel was tall enough to ride alot of the kiddie rides as well, he even rode the pony.

Well I have tackled a full week at work as a casino housekeeper. I really enjoy it except for working around the smoke. It is a fun place to work for. My duties include cleaning the casino floor, emptying ash trays, vaccum, and polish machines. We rotate between bathrooms and the floor. It is a lot of work but a lot of exercise walking around. The hours are great as well I have finally learned to adjust to staying up all night. Darrell is a real big help and support to me when I come home. He takes the baby to the park so I can snooze for a few and then I get some rest in the evening before work. I am so glad to have a job in this economy right now.

Cooper turned two on June 1st. He had a wonderfull and fun filled day at his party.

The party was held at Chris's parents home. There was a lot of yummy food and lots of fun stuff

Our little Daniel is growing so fast.

We love him to pieces, well he has finally outgrownThe portacrib,

so we decided to transition him while still Living in our trailer to his own bed.

He has his own littleSleeping headquarters and it is very cutely decorated.

Daniel does real well he has been in a big boys bed now for a week.

Darrell took our baby gate and screwed it into the studs of the bench

And table and that works as Daniel's bed rail, very clever idea and works great.

Cousins Meet Great Grandma

One sunny day in April we took a drive to Arizona to see Great Grandma Fulmer.

This was Cooper & Daniel's first visit. It was alot of fun and grandma enjoyed all of our company. The boys were the center of entertainment because they discovered the piano in the lounge and started playing music for everyone. This was to funny. We had a very memorable and rewarding experience that day. It was hard for all of us to say goodbye. Mind you grandma has real bad alheizemers and is in a rest home in Arizona. We love her very much......

A Very Happy Easter

We are living in our trailer in Chris & Christy's backyard.

This move is temporaily till we can get back on our feet

From loosing everything. We both are dilligently looking for work.

Our little Daniel is still adjusting to his change but is doing well.

No Good News To Report

Packing up and moving into Darrell's brother trailer. We will be parking the trailer at Chris & Christy's house. This is a very sad tradegy for us to have to report to everyone.

Darrell has not been working since December for the realtor doing clean outs of homes.

The econmy has gotten so bad that they are even slow. Poor Darrell has been looking day in and day out for work ever since the slow down and nothing has come our way yet.

Right now he is receiving unemployment which just Pays our rent, our bills do not even get paid, so for the month of March we Will be packing. When we do move all of our unemployment will just barely cover our expenses while we are in the trailer with no money in our pocket. Thank goodness we have qualified for food stamps. Times are tough and we

Never thought we would find ourselves living like this. We are hoping this will be Only temporaly tiill we find work and can get back on our feet. We love all of you who Have been diligently praying for us but nothing is breaking for us.

Here We Go........

As my husband would say.......

My diet is going all so well, that is what this funny joke

And horseplay is all about. I was not able to get down

On the floor and play with our little one the way I can now.

And I could not even fit on his bike.

My energy level is incrediable, thank goodness for diets.

I have so far lost about 12lbs.

And I feel wonderfull about myself again.

Mud On The Tires

Darrell , Daniel and I were on our way out to

Run a small errand and decided to venture out

Over to the Perris airport and watch the parachuters

Jump out of the plane, and then we spotted some trucks

Up off the hillside and decided to go venture over to

See what they were up to, Low And Behold It Was Mud....

And yes we had to be a part of that group. It was so much

Fun, We did a few runs and almost even got stuck.

Except thank goodness for 4+4. What a great

Time we had, and Daniel was just back in his car seat just a laughing away.

This was our first time doing this in our new truck.

A Day Out At The Park

A Day At The Los Angeles Zoo

Today Darrell and I took Daniel to the Los Angeles Zoo.

We both had not been there in many years

And man have things changed.

This was also Daniel's first time there.

We had a very fun and enjoyable day.

We also took a family Santa photo.

The chimpanzees, and the gorillas.

Daniel was real fascinated in the alligator in the water.

After a fun filled day at the zoo,

We went and did the driving tour to look at

The embers glowed softly, and in their dim light,
I gazed round the room and I cherished the sight.
My wife was asleep, her head on my chest,
My daughter beside me, angelic in rest.
Outside the snow fell, a blanket of white,
Transforming the yard to a winter delight.

The sparkling lights in the tree I believe,
Completed the magic that was Christmas Eve.
My eyelids were heavy, my breathing was deep,
Secure and surrounded by love I would sleep.
In perfect contentment, or so it would seem,
So I slumbered, perhaps I started to dream.

The sound wasn't loud, and it wasn't too near,
But I opened my eyes when it tickled my ear.
Perhaps just a cough, I didn't quite know, Then the
sure sound of footsteps outside in the snow.
My soul gave a tremble, I struggled to hear,
And I crept to the door just to see who was near.

Standing out in the cold and the dark of the night,
A lone figure stood, his face weary and tight.
A soldier, I puzzled, some twenty years old,
Perhaps a Marine, huddled here in the cold.
Alone in the dark, he looked up and smiled,
Standing watch over me, and my wife and my child.

"What are you doing?" I asked without fear,
"Come in this moment, it's freezing out here!
Put down your pack, brush the snow from your sleeve,
You should be at home on a cold Christmas Eve!"
For barely a moment I saw his eyes shift,
Away from the cold and the snow blown in drifts..

To the window that danced with a warm fire's light
Then he sighed and he said "Its really all right,
I'm out here by choice. I'm here every night."
"It's my duty to stand at the front of the line,
That separates you from the darkest of times.

No one had to ask or beg or implore me,

I'm proud to stand here like my fathers before me.
My Gramps died at ' Pearl on a day in December,"
Then he sighed, "That's a Christmas 'Gram always remembers."
My dad stood his watch in the jungles of ' Nam ',
And now it is my turn and so, here I am.

I've not seen my own son in more than a while,
But my wife sends me pictures; he's sure got her smile.
Then he bent and he carefully pulled from his bag,
The red, white, and blue... an American flag.
I can live through the cold and the being alone,
Away from my family, my house and my home.

I can stand at my post through the rain and the sleet,
I can sleep in a foxhole with little to eat.
I can carry the weight of killing another,
Or lay down my life with my sister and brother..
Who stand at the front against any and all,
To ensure for all time that this flag will not fall."

" So go back inside," he said, "harbor no fright,
Your family is waiting and I'll be all right."
"But isn't there something I can do, at the least,
